2017 in review

At the end of every year, I always marvel at how fast a year goes by, yet how far away the beginning of that year seems. 2017 was no different. At the beginning of the year, I hadn't even started this blog yet (although it was definitely in the works)! Before I move on to my goals and dreams for 2018, I want to take some time to reflect on the year that has passed. Here are some highlights!

In 2017, I...

...bought my first car

...performed in two community theater productions

...visited my sister, brother-in-law, and their kids in Palm Coast, FL

...auditioned for a show at Walt Disney World (!!)

...had a family "staycation" in Milwaukee, WI

...saw Aladdin in Chicago

...moved out of my parents' house (miss you, Mom and Dad!) and into my own apartment

...saw my little sister in action playing volleyball at the University of South Dakota

...visited Madison for Homecoming weekend and again later to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wisconsin Singers

...spent time with friends and family, tried to figure out #adulting, pursued hobbies, met new people, cried a little, laughed a lot, and took a few naps along the way!

If you recall from this post, my theme for the year was adventure. I'd say I did a pretty good job of finding adventure in both big and small ways!

Stay tuned for my 2018 theme! What did you do, see, and accomplish in 2017?
